Privacy & Safety
Last updated: February 2026
What We Collect
We store only the data you provide: your name, medications, contacts, wellness check-ins, and family feed posts. We do not track your location, browsing history, or app usage outside SeniorConnect.
How We Store It
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Your password is hashed with scrypt and never stored in plain text. Database backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days.
Who Can See It
Only you and the family members or caregivers you explicitly invite can see your profile data. No third parties, advertisers, or data brokers have access. Caregivers see only the profiles assigned to them — and you can revoke access at any time.
Notifications
Push notifications are used solely for medication reminders, wellness check-ins, and caregiver alerts you configure. You can disable them at any time from your Profile settings or your device's system settings.
Medical Disclaimer
SeniorConnect is a personal health tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Always consult your physician or qualified health provider for medical decisions.
Your Rights
You can export all your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) at any time. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data. Both options are available inside the app under Profile → Privacy & Safety.
Managing Your Data
You own your data. Export a copy or permanently delete everything — directly from the app.
Deleting the App
You can delete the SeniorConnect app from your device at any time.
On Android: press and hold the app icon, tap Uninstall, then confirm.
Deleting the app removes it from your device but does not delete your account or data from our servers. To permanently erase your data, use the Delete All My Data option inside the app before uninstalling, or contact us at support@seniorconnect.app.
